межд. эк., фин. спекулятивная атака (резкий рост продаж национальной валюты и спроса на иностранную валюту в период, предшествующий девальвации национальной валюты при фиксированном курсе, связанный со стремлением избежать потерь в результате девальвации или с расчетом на то, что после девальвации иностранную валюту можно будет опять обменять на национальную валюту по более выгодному курсу и получить тем самым прибыль в национальной валюте; в случае попыток центрального банка поддержать курс национальной валюты обычно приводит к потере валютных резервов страны и валютному кризису)
